Birthday cards with GIFs,
pick from millions

The card editor connects straight to Giphy. Search 'cake', 'mariah carey', or 'birthday corgi', then drop the right GIF into the card. The recipient unwraps it and the GIF plays.

Common questions

Where do the GIFs come from?+

Giphy. Birthdaypage uses the official Giphy API, so you get the same library you'd find in iMessage, Slack, or Discord: millions of GIFs, searchable by keyword.

Can I upload my own GIF?+

Not directly today; uploads are for static photos. For an animated meme of your own, you'd post it to Giphy first, then search for it from inside the card editor.

How many GIFs can I add to one card?+

There's no enforced limit, but more than three usually feels like too many. Two well-chosen GIFs land harder than ten random ones.

Will the GIFs play on iPhone and Android?+

Yes. The card uses standard browser-supported formats, no extension or app needed. Tested on iPhone Safari and Android Chrome.

Are the GIFs safe for work?+

The Giphy results inside the editor use Giphy's PG-13 content rating filter. You're unlikely to surface anything inappropriate, but you do the picking, so you're in control.
